dirty electricity

Within your home are numerous electronic devices that are used everyday for countless purposes. These devices operate on the power that is provided by local power companies. Some devices use the full 110 volt current from the wall (like incandescent lights) to operate, but a lot make use of transformers that step down the 110 voltage for use in products like PC computers, televisions, cell phone chargers, etc. And some even step up the voltage to very high levels in order to operate fluorescent lights including those very popular compact fluorescent lights that people think is the better way to go.

Whenever the full 110 wall current is altered with these common products, it produces a side effect known as “Dirty Electricity”. Dirty Electricity is electrical “noise” created and placed back onto the electrical line. This noise travels through all the wiring and out to the world between homes and to everyone that’s near electricity. You actually can receive this dirty electricity from your neighbors with not knowing it or being the cause of it!

An oscilloscope allows experts to visually see the dirty electricity.

What helps reduce Dirty Electricity?

Stetzerizer also makes filters that are plugged in around your home or offices to filter out this noise. For an average home 20 filters are recommended. After installing filters you then should use the meter to determine how effective they are and bring focus to high trouble areas.

How can I tell that I have dirty electricity in my home?

Fortunately a device called a Stetzerizer meter can be used to easily measure the “noise” or microsurges in your home’s wiring. Simply plug it into an outlet and take a reading. It helps to try all the outlets in your home or office. I also like to use the meter to evaluate the devices I own and see which ones are more problematic than others.

Capacitive Coupling:

This strange sounding phrase is the phenomena of your body connecting with the electromagnetic fields around you. So even when you are outside you may think that you are safe, but powerlines give off electromagnetic fields, and by being in them you are connected to their activity. These subtle fields can affect hormone glands of the brain and they also induce electrical voltages within the body. Because of this, many believe that high power lines and cell phone towers are the cause for many health problems.

Other items for EMF consideration

For some people they like to switch off the power from the breaker box prior to sleeping in the bedroom. Also people like to drape a conductive (grounded) fabric mesh around their bed to further reduce levels of EMF. A simple grounded fabric placed under the bed sheet also serves to ground the body especially if people live in apartments and high rises.
