This was a winter project from a 1840’s frock coat pattern. This coat has a nice tailored style to it and I have also built a short top hat to go with it. The wool is coat grade melton, black. There is a synthetic liner. Side pockets are fully functional and velvet is used for the collar, cuffs, and buttons. Heavy interfacing is used for the collar and chest folds.
