Projects

This was a winter project for me to make a 1840’s frock coat from a pattern. The coat has a nice tailored style to it. Outer shell is coat grade melton wool, black. There is a synthetic liner. Side pockets are fully functional. Black velvet is used for the collar, cuffs, and buttons. Heavy interfacing is used for the collar and chest fold-overs. During this time I also built a top hat to go with it.
