Outer wool fabric applied understructure. Crown and brim ready to be permanently mounted.

Fully finished hat with grosgrain ribbon added to base of crown. Not shown is the inner lining of the hat and the grosgrain sweatband.

UPDATED: February 15, 2010      Hat is finished!

 

The wool fabric used for the outer appearance worked quite well. Special concerns were used to get the grosgrain ribbon to bend around the base of the crown but it all managed to work out very well
